Hamilton County, Ohio……. Lisa Humble, Hamilton County Public Health (HCPH) Director of Plumbing, was named the winner of the Herbert J. Vonderheide Award presented by the Cincinnati Master Plumbers Association (CMPA).
Humble, a resident of Norwood, was cited for active association membership and her work to keep members up-to-date on plumbing code changes, as well as State and County regulations. “I appreciate Lisa having an open door for me to get questions answered and information to our membership,” says Joyce Frank, Executive Director of CMPA. “She has always gone above and beyond for us.”
The award is given annually to the person who best exemplifies Vonderheide’s dedication, care and industry leadership. He joined the Association in the 1930s and during his tenure, held all of the association leadership titles.
“Lisa is a prime example of our agency motto of ‘education over enforcement,’” according to Hamilton County Health Commissioner Tim Ingram. “She has been a champion for change and a dedicated leader to the plumbing profession throughout her career.”
Hamilton County Public Health works to assure the 480,000 citizens living outside the cities of Cincinnati, Norwood and Springdale are safe from disease, injury and contamination.
