Knowing your HIV status is just one more way to protect your health – and Hamilton County Public Health is making that easy to do in June.
To help prevent the spread of HIV, Hamilton County Public Health will offer its confidential HIV testing services as part of National HIV Testing Day on Friday, June 27. First observed in 1995, National HIV Testing Day encourages people to get tested for HIV, know their status, and find links to care and treatment.

“National HIV Testing Day is a great time to get tested and ease your mind,” says Jaasiel Chapman, one of Hamilton County Public Health’s HIV program coordinators. “It’s a quick, judgment-free moment to focus on your wellbeing before going back to your busy day.”
Testing for HIV can provide powerful information that you can use to promote good health and slow the spread of the virus. In addition, routine testing provides opportunities for early diagnosis and treatment.
