Hamilton County Public Health is committed to helping our community access vital overdose prevention resources. Our programs provide compassionate support, education, and resources while addressing the increased risk of hepatitis, HIV, and other sexually transmitted infections associated with substance use.
What We Do
Our overdose prevention programs offers comprehensive, community-based approaches that combine disease prevention, education, and referral services, including:
Education on substance use disorders and stigma
Overdose prevention, including access to NARCAN (Naloxone) and fentanyl test strips
Safe sex education and personal care items
Hepatitis vaccination education
Referrals for treatment of hepatitis, HIV and STIs
Referrals to medical, mental health and addiction treatment providers

We offer HIV/STI testing, safe sex education, personal care items, and referrals for treatment.
Stigma-Free Access for Everyone (SAFE) Services is a program designed to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases and promote safety, health and wellness by proactively addressing risks.
