HCPH is moving to 1701 Patricia McCollum Way. We'll close our William Howard Taft location at 2 p.m. April 21 and will re-open in our new location at 7:30 a.m. April 27. Clinic appointments at our Section Ave. location will remain unchanged.

Waste Haulers

In accordance with Housing and Environmental Sanitation Regulation 1-2026, to prevent the creation of public health nuisance conditions and storm water pollution, no person, firm, or corporation shall engage in the business of collecting solid waste for compensation within the jurisdiction of the Hamilton County General Health District without first applying for Waste Collection Vehicle Registration issued by the Board of Health.

Registration is issued upon receipt, review and approval of the Waste Hauler Application to haul garbage or waste in the Hamilton County General Health District.

Anyone who is issued a registration to haul waste within the Health District’s jurisdiction will pay an annual permit fee of $20 for each vehicle used to haul waste. Waste must be transported in covered containers.
